In order to make the homemade snails with pesto, we will need the following condiments:
- A 400 g bag of refrigerated snails or a 400 g bag of VdeGust canned snails.
- 3 handfuls of large basil leaves
- 250 ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
- 100 g pine nuts
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove of garlic
- A pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Start by putting all the ingredients to make the pesto sauce in a mortar and pestle or in a blender, and check that the sauce is a little homogeneous. If more liquid is desired, add more oil.
- Once the sauce is ready, add it to the frying pan with the snails.
- Mix everything together for 5 minutes ... and that's it!
Once all the steps have been followed, the screws are ready to serve and enjoy!
